Reiki Treatments

Traditional Usui Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that has been practiced for over 3000 years. Reiki can be used to promote overall well-being and balance for the body, mind, and spirit. It is used to reduce stress, support the recovery process from injury, illness, depression, or any state of "dis-ease." In the United States, it has been utilized and passed on since the 1940s. This healing art form requires a certified preacitioner to lay thier hands on various points of the phyiscal body, as well as areas around it (the etheric body). By doing this, the practitioner releases certiain blockages in and around the body, allowing and increasing the flow of energy, optimizing the body's capacity to "heal." During the last decade, Reiki has been intigrated into major hospital systems, such as the Cleveland Clinic, and the Ohio State University hospital systems. It is also used to treat plants and animals.

The use of Reiki has been employed by nursing homes, hospitals, hospice centers, and spas. Erin Hill, Reiki Master and Practitioner, is located in Fairport Harbor, OH, house calls are also available.

Reiki Level I Class: $60.00

Reiki Level II Class: $80.00

 Erin Hill has been a part of the Fairport Dance Academy since birth, never missing a recital. She has been an official assistant/instructor at the studio for two years now. She has a BA in Natural Resources with a specialization in Wildlife Management and Wildlife Biology from The Ohio State University. She studied belly dance for six years in Columbus, Ohio, teaching and dancing professionally for three. She is certified by the National Yoga Association to teach Hatha Yoga at the 200-hour level. She is a certified Reiki Master, practitioner and teacher. She continues the dance certification process through Dance Masters of America and has also continued to further her dance education by attending the Dance Teacher Conference in New York City 2005 and 2007.
